“As a parent you have to be proactive in the (recruiting) process. There is just too much for the athlete to keep up with, and at times it gets very stressful. I used the NCSA recruiting system to get addresses to schools that [my son] was interested in, and all of his first contacts were made using NCSA. Once a relationship was developed, I used my regular email to continue sending information. Make sure that you let the coaches know that you are a NCSA client. NCSA has stated over and over that there are many opportunities to play football at various levels; you have to be honest with your assessment of your child. Not every kid is going to play on the DI level.” — Satisfied customer, 2012
