T.O. gets last laugh in PhillyWhen Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Keith Davis and Bradie James were selected captains by their teammates at the beginning of the year, Terrell Owens jokingly self-appointed himself the Cowboys' fifth captain.
Until Sunday, however, Owens never made it to midfield for the pregame coin flip. But there was a not-so-coincidental change when the other team happened to be the Philadelphia Eagles. About the only thing Owens did wrong against his former team Sunday was lose the coin toss. Texans snap skid against RaidersWith Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson, Ahman Green and Dunta Robinson expensive cheerleaders, the Texans managed to escape McAfee Coliseum with a much-needed victory over the Oakland Raiders. Sunday's 24-17 win over a bad Oakland team elevated the Texans' record to 4-5 and provided a tourniquet for the hemorrhaging that began five games ago in Atlanta.
The excitement over a 2-0 record and a six-point loss to Indianapolis evaporated over the next five weeks, during which the Texans played as bad as any team outside Miami or St. Louis. Though they lost Robinson for the rest of the season with knee and hamstring injuries, perhaps having two weeks for Schaub, Johnson and Green to get healthy will catapult the Texans back to respectability.Related: Injury costs Robinson the seasonRelated: Rosenfels does just fine as starter
