One of the most anticipated days of Texas high school football’s offseason is finally here!  Dave Campbell's Texas Football has officially announced the 10 Texas high schools that have been contracted to participate in the 2010 Texas Football Classic. Head football coaches and representatives from each of the 10 schools were on hand in San Antonio today for this exciting unveiling.

The lineup this year will be:

 

Thursday August 26th – 7:30pm – Uvalde vs. Seguin

Friday August 27th – 7:30pm – Abilene vs. Belton

Saturday August 28th – Noon – Richmond Foster vs. El Paso Hanks

Saturday August 28th – 3:45pm – Gregory-Portland vs. Port Neches-Groves

Saturday August 28th – 7:30pm – Georgetown vs. Killeen Harker Heights

 

The staff of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, which organizes and manages the annual Texas Football Classic, is extremely thrilled with the 10 schools that have been selected. All participants have impressive traditions and valued playoff experience.

 

The inaugural Texas Football Classic, in 1999, featured a one-day tripleheader.  The Texas Football Classic was then expanded to four games and two days in 2001, before it was expanded to three days and four games in 2004.
