Munday has beaten Seymour and can wrap up the district title and the DII top seed by beating Petrolia in Week 10.

Seymour will be the DI seed if it wins at least one of its final two games against Petrolia and Windthorst.

Petrolia has a slight edge for the third playoff spot but has to face district leaders Seymour and Munday the final two weeks. Archer City has beaten Petrolia and has a great chance to grab that final DII playoff spot by beating Munday and Electra in its last two games, and a split might be good enough.

Haskell and Hamlin face off this week in a battle of the last two district unbeatens. Win or lose, Haskell appears headed for the DI bracket.

Hamlin plays Roscoe in Week 10, and that game could decide the DII top seed.

Roscoe has beaten Roby, so Roby’s chances of busting into the top three are slim.

Albany and Bronte meet in Week 10 to determine the district champion and possibly the DII top seed.

Three teams are vying for the third playoff spot: Winters, Cross Plains and Baird. They’ve only had one head-to-head matchup so far: a Winters victory over Cross Plains. Baird faces Winters this week and Cross Plains next week.

If Winters advances, it will be the DI seed. If Winters doesn’t advance, the DI seed will be Albany.

Lindsay has beaten Muenster and Era and can lock up the district title with a Week 10 win over Collinsville.

Muenster plays Era in Week 10 in a game that could decide the DII seeds.

Collinsville is the district’s largest school and will be the DI seed if it advances. If not, the DI seed will be Lindsay.

Boles Is the state’s top-ranked team and can wrap up the district title with a Week 10 win over Wolfe City. Boles will go to the DI bracket regardless of that outcome.

Wolfe City plays Cumby tonight in a game that should determine the DII top seed.

If Cumby loses to Wolfe City, it probably has to beat Celeste in Week 10 to earn the district’s final playoff berth.

Tolar faces DeLeon tonight for the district title. Regardless of the winner, DeLeon should emerge as the DI seed and Tolar should be the DII top seed.

There’s a three-way tie for the district’s second DII spot. There’s only been one head-to-head meeting among the three: a Perrin-Whitt win over Gorman. Santo faces Gorman this week and Perrin-Whitt in Week 10.
