Merry Christmas from DCTF
Dave Campbell's Texas Football, from its very inception in 1960, has always had a very strong family element. From Dave Campbell and his wife Reba, through the now 52 years, to the current DCTF staff, family has always played an important role in the magazine's operation.
We've been incredibly blessed to cover the best football in the nation for more than half a century, and along the way, we've picked up hundreds of thousands of readers -- folks that we consider members of the DCTF family. From fans of the Dallas Cowboys to fans of the very smallest high school -- Benjamin High School, a six-man school with an enrollment of 11, in case you were wondering -- we're blessed to call you not only readers, not only friends, but family.
But it extends further than that. It includes all of the coaches and players that we have the pleasure of interacting with every year, all of the fantastic sports information folks at all of the colleges and pro teams, all of the exceptional writers across the state and the nation without whom we couldn't operate, and all of the terrific people who go into making DCTF and TexasFootball.com operate but don't get nearly their due.
What we're saying is, it's a big family.
On this Christmas Day -- a day in which being with family is paramount -- we reflect on how truly thankful we are to have such a big, wonderful family that has helped us be the Southwest's leading football source since 1960. It's been a record year for Dave Campbell's Texas Football, and that's because of you, our family.
From our families to yours: Merry Christmas.
