FOX Sports Southwest and Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine, two of the most recognized brands for statewide high school football coverage, have joined forces to produce and televise one of the most comprehensive blocks of high school football programming ever developed.

FOX Sports Southwest High School Football Friday powered by DCTF feature four consecutive hours of live high school football programming on Friday nights on Fox Sports Southwest, spread over three shows in the 2012 season.

• Football Friday Live presented by State Farm (7:00-7:30 PM) – This 30-minute pregame show previews the marquee matchup at the designated game site and other big games across the state. Fans are invited to come out early and be part of the program as announcers highlight the game, players, coaches and even the band and drill team.

• Football Friday Blitz (7:30-10:30 PM) – Three hours of highlight footage and live reports from significant games around the state. The show has the ability to tap into
radio game broadcasts for quick updates. Additional correspondents use Skype to file video reports from their games. Fans are encouraged to send in their own updates from games they’re attending via Twitter. A ticker updates scores throughout the program. It all adds up to the most comprehensive, up-to-the-minute coverage of games as they happen.
