5A: La Porte

La Porte RB Jonathan Lewis scored on the first offensive play of the game and the Bulldogs never looked back, soaring to a 38-20 win over Beaumont West Brook to seal the District 21-5A crown.

4A: Friendswood

In a wild back-and-forth affair, Friendswood blocked Texas City's potential game-winning field goal with 15 seconds left to win, 35-34 and clinch the final playoff spot out of District 24-4A.

3A: Whitesboro

The Bearcats beat Pilot Point for the first time in 35 years, 60-7, clinching the first playoff spot for Whitesboro since the program's inception in 1936, snapping the state's longest playoff drought.

2A: Lexington

Behind 327 total yards from QB Kogan Garrett and a defense that stiffened in the second half, Lexington handed Rogers its first loss of the year with a 35-22 victory.

1A: Medina

Though they missed the playoffs, the Bobcats went out with a bang, getting 119 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground from RB Andrew Landry and their best defensive effort of the season to upset D'Hanis, 38-14. 

6M: Penelope

It came up short for the playoffs via, but Penelope gave itself a chance in the final week, edging Aquilla 53-46 to grab a share of the District 14-6M DI title.
